Overview
We are looking for an experienced Mobile App Developer to contribute to our network of local marketplaces. You will be tasked with developing the mobile app for both Android and iOS platforms, primarily using Flutter. Your role will focus on developing intuitive and interactive front-end and back-end features codes. You will collaborate closely with our app Technologie manager to ensure a smooth, user-friendly experience that allows users to explore a comprehensive e-commerce mobile application to buy from local vendors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the front-end and the back-end mobile app from scratch for both Android and iOS platforms, ensuring optimal performance in terms of speed, responsiveness, and reliability on both devices.
- Work closely with our Technologie Manager to ensure the smooth integration of our local market sites designs into fully functional mobile experiences.
- Utilize Flutter as the primary technology for development.
- Employ React Native, Swift, Android Studio, and Xcode to develop efficient and scalable front-end solutions as secondary support technologies.
- Focus on accessibility best practices in mobile app development.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code to support ongoing development and future updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any front-end issues, ensuring that the user experience remains smooth and engaging.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing to maintain high development standards.
Qualifications
- Preferred 2-5 years of experience in mobile app development, specializing in front-end and back-end development for both Android and iOS platforms.
- Preferred 1-2 years of experience using Flutter.
- Expertise, Android Studio.
- In-depth knowledge of front-end development best practices, mobile design principles, and responsive design techniques.
- Familiarity with integrating APIs and managing data flow between front-end and back-end systems.
- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot front-end issues.
- Understanding of mobile app performance optimization techniques.

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to work legally in the Us
- Must be friendly with customers, employees and vendors
- Must have a computer with decent internet connection
- Must have a cellphone with service
- Must be able to speak English / Creole (Spanish is a plus)
- Must have a zoom account
- Must be able to receive payroll electronically
